This was written for live diffusion on a multichannel system installed on a boat for trip down the Thames.
The idea was to have the piece be part of the extant soundscape and kind of rise up out if and then recede again.
It accomplishes it's task and I was able to spend some time carving and cutting the white noise of the various canal, river and sluice sources while pursuing a more direct notion of music as a plastic art, like sculpture and painting (there's a link the literature on this site somewhere).
